June is dairy month. Since we live in the Dairy State, it’s your patriotic duty to consume as much dairy as possible. Sure, you can pour skim milk over your breakfast cereal and enjoy plain Greek yogurt with fruit after lunch. But we prefer to celebrate Dairy Month in the most delicious way – and that means eating ice cream! And we’re pretty sure whipped cream is also a dairy product, so go ahead and make this sundae.

Kenosha Public Library hosts Chess Night in Lincoln Park, 6900 18th Ave. The Kenosha Chess Association hosts games from 6-7:30 p.m. on Mondays in front of the park’s Oribiletti Center. All ages and abilities are welcome. Also: The library book truck will be parked nearby. You can register for a library card, borrow and return items, and sign up for the summer reading program.
