All proposed amendments to the Texas constitution were passed on Tuesday in Taylor County, unofficial results show.
Voters were weighing eight amendments in the joint constitutional amendment election, with residents of Trent weighing in on Proposition A.
Only 26 people voted in this election, including 24 in favor of adding a 2% local sales tax. Fifteen voted in advance, of which 11 voted on Tuesday.
Overall, the vote was light, with just 5,384 of the 82,559 registered county voters voting. It is 6.52%.
All the amendments were adopted when the absentee and early vote totals were announced. Final totals arrived after 9 p.m.
Proposal 6, which sought to grant a designated caregiver visitation rights to a resident of a nursing home or a publicly funded assisted living facility or residential center, attracted the most great support at the local level, with 92%.
The closest margin of success was 59% for propositions 2, 4 and 5.
