New death from COVID-19 confirmed by TGC health service

SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Tom Green County Health Department has confirmed the death of an additional patient from causes related to COVID-19 infection, according to a statement released by the City of San Angelo today, Friday. September 3, 2021.

The patient, the statement said, was a partially vaccinated Runnels County man in his 60s. No other patient information is currently available.

So far, 374 patients have died from COVID-19-related causes in Tom Green County. Of these patients, 243 were residents of Tom Green County; 131 were residents of other counties.

The Department of Health has confirmed one additional death linked to COVID-19 in Tom Green County:

– Male, 70, County of Runnels: partially vaccinated

This brings the total number of COVID-19-related deaths in Tom Green County to 374: 243 for Tom Green County and 131 for other counties. We have no further patient information at this time.
