Jerline “Patsy, Jerri” Evelyn Rohmfeld, 88, traveled to the Kingdom of Heaven on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.
She was born on May 28, 1934 to Paul and Josephine (Pelzel) Sturm in Ballinger, Texas. She came from a large family and was number 17 out of 18 children. She married her first love, Raymond Rohmfeld, on December 29, 1952, and they shared 64 years together before his death on September 15, 2017. Jerri was a hairstylist for over 64 years and was the wife and mother of a dedicated farmer. The loves of her life were her husband Ray, her daughter Becky, her church, her grandson by choice, Tyler Smith, and her family. She also loved cooking, people and playing. She was an excellent cook and welcomed people into her home at all times. She was a faithful member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Ballinger and was a member of the Altar Society. Later in life, she became an avid hunter.
Jerri was predeceased by her husband Raymond Rohmfeld; parents, Paul and Josephine Sturm; sisters, Josephine Schwertner, Elizabeth Sturm, Tillie Piel, Louise Schwertner, Mary Sturm, Helen Matthiesen, Florine Kellermeier, Frieda Janca, Julia Rohmfeld, Emma Kruppa and Rosa Schwertner. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Richard, Fred, Louis and Henry Sturm.
Jerri is survived by his daughter Becky Rohmfeld; twin sisters, Lorene Cmerek and Dorene Matthiesen; Tyler Smith and his wife Brandee, and Robby Cook and his wife Gage. She also leaves to mourn several nieces and nephews.

A Rosary will be recited at the Lange Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday August 4, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. Christian Burial Mass will be held Friday, August 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Ballinger with Father Timothy Hayter in celebration. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Rowena, Texas.
