Drugs probe arrests 11 in Runnels County

BALLINGER – The Runnels County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook Thursday that 11 arrests have been made to conclude a three-month narcotics investigation.

Further arrests could be made. The sheriff’s office said there were outstanding warrants for other people in the investigation.

Sealed indictments earlier in December were handed down and arrests made on Wednesday by MPs, who worked with Ballinger and Winters Police Department and Constable Wayne Poehls.

The people arrested were:

â–º Gabriel Alfaro Jr. – Manufacture / delivery of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Obligation set at $ 20,000.

â–º Freddy Brown – Manufacture / deliver a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Obligation fixed at $ 10,000.

â–º Shoni Ferguson – Manufacture / deliver controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Obligation set at $ 10,000

â–º Mary Jones – Manufacture / deliver controlled substance, less than 28 grams. Obligation set at $ 20,000.

â–º Tia Nicole Lopez – Manufacture / deliver a controlled substance, less than 1 gram, and manufacture / deliver a controlled substance, over 200 grams, less than 400 grams. Security deposit set at $ 10,000 for each charge.

â–º Michael Luna – Manufacture / delivery of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Obligation fixed at $ 10,000.

â–º Fidencia Q. Martinez – Manufacture / delivery of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Obligation fixed at $ 10,000.

â–º Daniel Sanchez – Two charges of manufacturing / delivering a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Security deposit set at $ 10,000 for each charge.

â–º Michael Liggins – Two charges of manufacturing / delivering a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Security deposit set at $ 10,000 for each charge.

â–º Shila Ann Drake – Manufacture / delivery of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Obligation fixed at $ 10,000.

â–º Sergio Rangel – Manufacture / delivery of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Obligation fixed at $ 10,000.
